The Golden Coil Design Contest 2026 has become a regular part of my creative year. I take part almost every year, and I always look forward to coming up with a new cover design and turning an idea into something real.
This year was no different. I knew right away that I wanted to join the Golden Coil Design Contest again. My design features a rich blue background with delicate blossom branches and black birds. I wanted to create something that feels calm and elegant, while still having movement and personality.
What I love most about the Golden Coil Design Contest is the creative process behind it. It is that moment when a first idea slowly turns into a finished design. For me, it is not just about making something beautiful, but about creating a notebook cover design that feels thoughtful, distinctive, and enjoyable to use every day.
